The system ensures a secure connection between the bank and the operator and displays subscriber statuses in the interface. This enables banks to promptly receive trustworthy information about all changes on the customer’s part, including the following:
- change of the number used for notification;
- changes in customer’s registration details;
- call forwarding set by a customer;
- contract termination by a customer;
- change of a customer’s number;
- contract re-execution by a customer;
- change from one mobile network operator to another via MNP.
The Bank Notification system provides information in several ways:
- A hybrid online/offline mode: The system keeps an event log according to the MSISDN list, while a partner bank calls API once in N seconds and collects the whole log of events that have happened since the previous request.
- Online notification upon the occurrence of a certain event in the billing (real-time push requests). Notifications are generated on the operator side and sent to a partner bank. This is necessary to instantly inform the bank of events that may result in fraud aimed at customers.
- Offline notifications: A partner bank triggers a request to the operator to receive information about the events related to certain MSISDNs that occurred during a certain period of time.
